Wiki Version:
## Protocol ## This directory includes coding templates and instructions for using the experimental materials and coding templates. Deviations from standard protocols should be recorded in each lab's supplemental method section. Note: Because different locations may have different practices for when children begin schooling, it is very important that all labs are recruiting based on the child's age. We recommend the age calculator, which is a free web-based tool from Pearson, to ensure that all labs are calculating age in years and months in the same way. It can be found here: https://images.pearsonclinical.com/images/ageCalculator/ageCalculator.htm **Contents of this directory** - ***ProtocolRRR.pdf*** describes the procedure for running an experimental session with a participant. - ***Participant Log Flavell et al. Replication.xlsx*** includes columns for organizing the information needed about each research participant. - ***verbalize_subnum_coderInitials_Template.xlsx*** is a template for recording whether or not the participant verbalized in each phase of each trial. - ***Strategy Coding_UpdatedProtocol_Mar2019.pdf*** explains the protocol for determining whether the qualitative answer from the open-ended strategy question indicates verbal rehearsal or not. - ***StrategyCodes_Template.xlsx*** provides a template for coding qualitative strategy descriptions. - ***Training Video Story Board.pptx*** includes the plans for making the protocol training video produced by Boys Town.
