Description: For the purposes of this study, after death communications is defined as perceived, clear, and direct communication with the deceased, whether spontaneous or deliberately facilitated. The research question guiding this study is: In what way do experiences of after-death communication inform the cultivation of self-transcendent emotion-experiences (gratitude & compassion) as part of the grieving process?
