Wiki Version:
Target of replication: *A priori* experimental protocols, materials, and confirmatory analysis plans were peer reviewed, [pre-registered][1], and published by [*eLife*][2]. This component includes all primary and QC data for the replication of [Berger et al. 2012][3]. This experiment was performed to assess the genotype of endogenous _PREX2_ in NRASG12D melanocytes. ### Contents ### [Figures component][4] contains a visualization of the results. These figures are the same as can be found in the Replication Study and include Figure 1 displaying the sequencing results. [Data Component][5], contains data generated from the experimental work. The [PREX2 Sequencing Second Attempt (TACGen)][6] folder containts raw data from the replicating lab (.ab1 files and sequence calls in text format (.seq)) which successfully sequenced the endogenous _PREX2_ from the NRASG12D cell line reported in the Replication Study. The [PREX2 Sequencing First Attempt (Biofactura)][7] folder contains gel pictures and summary .pptx files from a failed attempt to sequence the _PREX2_ gene. [Methods Component][8], contains methodology details for this replication attempt which were briefly described in the [Registered Report][2]. [Cell line quality Control data][9] includes results confirming the cell line was free of mycoplasma contamination as well as STR DNA profiling.
