Description: This repository contains data from opinion polls commissioned by University of Bristol researchers and conducted by YouGov. The UK poll was conducted in late July. There is a press release here: https://www.bristol.ac.uk/news/2023/july/public-opinion-on-climate-change-and-protesters.html The German poll was conducted in early October. The questions in the two polls were similar, but the UK poll asked about Just Stop Oil and the German poll asked about Letzte Generation. Also, the UK poll asked about opinions concerning North Sea oil and gas licences (JSO's main demand) while the German poll asked opinions concerning speed limits on German motorways (one of the main demands of LG).
