Abstract Introduction: Most audiological evaluation and management protocols recommend using functional hearing evaluation questionnaires for children and adults. This study aims to evaluate the validity, reliability, and feasibility of the Spanish version of the SSQp using online administration in the Spanish speaking population. Methods: The SSQp is a parent-report questionnaire consisting of 23 items assessing a range of daily life listening situations. Parents/caregivers of children aged 6 to 17 years with or without hearing loss will answer the questionnaire in an online format. Internal consistency, test-retest reliability, validity, and floor and ceiling effects will be investigated. Results: The results will demonstrate the feasibility and appropriateness of the SSQ questionnaire for Spanish speakers’ parents of children with hearing loss.
