Description: This project contains code and data for reproducing the results in the manuscript "Modeling Cycles, Trends and Time-Varying Effects in Dynamic Structural Equation Models with Regression Splines" by Øystein Sørensen and Ethan M. McCormick.
The folder named "reproduce" contains all the material necessary to reproduce the simulation results and the example in Figure 1. We cannot openly share the alcohol data, but instead provide a simulated dataset which can be used to run the models. Note that the values in this simulated dataset are completely random, and hence will not produce results that are at all close to those in the paper.
