Description: This repository contains the MUA from the main experiment on awake monkeys, for every trial and recording site. The data can be used freely, with the only condition of citing the original paper (Papale et al., PNAS, 2024). The accompanying Matlab script is meant to make the data structure clear. The MUA is averaged in the 25-75ms time-window, which is the data used in the paper. The raw data do not fit the limits of OSF, but can be requested to the authors. However, we have released a much larger dataset (the TVSD: Papale et al., Neuron, 2024), including +25,000 images, an order of magnitude more electrodes, more regions (V1, V4 and IT), including the RAW data as well. The TVSD is a more appropriate and reliable dataset for modeling purposes, and we strongly suggest to use that dataset in case testing your hypothesis requires the full the time-course or a different time-window.
