Wiki Version:
![enter image description here][1] **PsyArXiv** is designed to facilitate rapid dissemination of psychological research. It is a creation of the [Society for the Improvement of Psychological Science (SIPS)][2] and the [Center for Open Science (COS)][3], and is the [preferred preprint service of the APA][4]. **What can be posted** PsyArXiv allows scholars to post documents such as working papers, unpublished work, and articles under review (preprints), making them accessible to other researchers and to the public *at no cost*. Users can also upload revisions of their posted document and supplemental documents such as appendices. **Can a preprint of an article that will be published in a journal be posted?** Most journals in psychology permit posting of preprints, and for most journals you can find their policy at the [SHERPA/RoMEO][5] database. Before publication, articles are your creative product to do with as you please. If your article has already been published in a journal, be sure to check the journal policy on posting — for example, many do not allow posting of the publisher-prepared PDF, but do allow posting of the original author-formatted document. **Helpful links** - [FAQ][6] - [Blog][7] - [PsyArXiv on Twitter][8] [1]: https://files.osf.io/v1/resources/qmy92/providers/osfstorage/5aeb151b9a64d7000ee80dcf?mode=render [2]: http://improvingpsych.org/ [3]: https://cos.io/ [4]: http://www.apa.org/news/press/releases/2017/08/open-science.aspx?
