# Equivalence Testing - A Tutorial ## *File system info* * In the GitHub storage you will find all the files required to reproduce our manuscript (the manuscript.Rmd file) in Rmarkdown. * In each Example folder you can find easy-to-adapt versions of the TOST analysis conducted in R (.R), Jamovi (.omv), and a spreadsheet (.xlsx). * For readers used to the SPSS interface, the analysis in Jamovi might be the best place to start. * Example 4 does not have an analysis in Jamovi, because Jamovi currently does not support proportions tests in TOSTER. ## *Software info* ### Jamovi * A free statistical software similar to SPSS. * [Download][1]. Then... 1. Install Jamovi. 2. Open Jamovi 2. Click the blue and white "+" sign in the upper right corner 3. Click the "jamovi library" dropdown 4. In the "Available" tab, install the TOSTER package ### R * For users new to R, we reccommend using the Rstudio IDE. * Here is [a guide on how to install][2] * Here is [a short video tutorial][3] [1]: https://www.jamovi.org/download.html [2]: http://web.cs.ucla.edu/~gulzar/rstudio/ [3]: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVKMsaWju8w
