Description: To assess responsible and translational research practices at the levels of the institution and the immediate research environment of the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH). Our anonymous survey will use the standardized and validated questionaire SURVEY OF ORGANIZATIONAL RESEARCH CLIMATE (SORCe, Martinson et al. 2013), provided by the University Arkansas. As translation is a major element of the mission of the BIH, questions have been added by us to cover translational research practices, which have not been the focus of the original SORCe questionaire.
