The “Migrants’ Approached Self-Learning Intervention in HIV/AIDS for Tajiks (MASLIHAT)” was developed and pilot tested. MASLIHAT recruits and trains Tajik migrants who inject (or previously injected) drugs as peer educators (PEs). PEs deliver the intervention within their injection drug use (IDU) diaspora social networks while reducing their own risk.
