Wiki Version:
This study consisted of 4 conditions (atoms and observation visible, atoms visible, observation visible, nothing visible), which were displayed in blocks of 12 trials per conditions, resulting in 48 trials. The order of conditions was balanced according to a Latin sqaure across participants. Trials were assigned to a specific block but were displayed in randomized order within a block. As a result, each block (1,2,3, and 4) was each condition (atoms and observation visible, atoms visible, observation visible, nothing visible) for some participants. The stimulus material presented here displays all 12 trials of each block in an exemplary order and block 1 as condition atoms and observations visible, 2 as atoms visible, 3 as observation visible and 4 as nothing visible.
