Description: This project will examine the relationship between personality, psychological distress, and the robustness of self-report methods. The project is centered around a generic data gathering to assess Big Five personality traits, the so called dark core of personality, psychological distress and disorder. Several part studies will focus on normative data, simulation and dissimulation of psychological disturbance, and the relationship between "normal" personality and psychological distress.
