Wiki Version:
This section can contain any combination of wiki pages, pdfs and other desktop publishing documents, or linked add-ons that pull together the working protocols for conducting research in the lab and additional helpful information for working on campus. *[**Design considerations**: If you already have lab procedure documents as files on your computer you can upload them directly to this section. If you are already using an online document editing and management tool for those documents you may be able to directly connect that service as an add-on. Take a look at the component's "Settings" menu for the list of currently supported add-ons and see the [OSF Add-ons Guide](http://help.osf.io/m/addons) for details on setting them up. If you are putting together new documents, the wiki is a great place to start and the content can be easily migrated to other formats and tools later on should you wish.* *If you are going to keep this component of your lab project private you should make sure that any procedures you document that are relevant to the conduct of an experiment are also documented in that experiment's project. If you just wish to keep certain portions of this component, such as guidance from the IRB or university licensing office, you can also consider creating a separate "University Guidance" sub-component here so as to narrow the scope of things you are keeping private should you wish to make the whole project publicly viewable.]* In addition to discipline specific documentation, you might want to include advise on working with the university IRB or technology and licensing office as well as any best practices they recommend for what portions of your project can or should be made public at any given stage of your research. You might also consider contact information for * Facilities * Security * University librarians for your field * Any active associations or other field-related groups that have a connection with the lab
