Description: This project contains the preregistration, materials, and results for the replications of three studies by Epley and Gilovich (2005, Study 2; 2006, Studies 2a and 2c). The replications were designed to shed light on contradictory findings regarding the difference between self-generated anchors and experimenter-provided anchors on people's numeric estimates.
