Description: Telescope Public Opinion Watch, presented in this paper, is part of the broader Telescope initiative (launched in 2024 by the CISE – Italian Center for Electoral Studies at LUISS Guido Carli University) dedicated to the public divulgation of analyses of elections, voting behavior, and democratic representation that employ the methodological rigor of political science. The initiative is designed to bridge the gap between political science research and public discourse, delivering high-quality academic insights in an accessible format. More specifically within the initiative, the Telescope Public Opinion Watch project leverages original data collection on public opinion: by offering empirical findings grounded in established theories and robust methodologies, the project provides the general public with a systematic and structured approach to understanding electoral processes in a timely manner.
