**Description**
This project tested lateralisation in three speech generation tasks:
- Sentence Generation
- Word Generation (phonological verbal fluency)
- List Generation
The aims of the project were:
- To identify whether Sentence Generation was a viable alternative to Word Generation for assessing lateralisation during speech generation
- To investigate whether using List Generation as a high level baseline task altered the observed lateralisation indices.
The data was acquired by Zoe Woodhead and Holly Rutherford (as a BSc project).

**Correction, February 2020**
A recent reanalysis of the data for another project identified problems with the original analysis. The fTCD data was acquired in 2 runs, with a short break between them to allow the participant to rest. During the analysis, the data was concatenated into one long run. However, the indices denoting the time that the trials started in run 2 was not corrected to allow for this concatenation. As a result, trials in run 1 were analysed correctly, but trials in run 2 were not. This would have had the effect of adding a lot of noise into the analysis.
The error occurred in the **WSLG_Analysis.R** script. This has now been corrected and the data has been reanalysed. The old version of the WSLG_Analysis script has been retained for comparison, and is saved as **WSLG_Analysis_INCORRECT.R**
All scripts and datafiles have been updated.
