This is the project for *The influence of drinking consequences on alcohol expectancy likelihoods and valences: an item-level multi-level approach* The project contains one **Analysis** folder with two subfolders, one for each study. The folder for each study further contains up to 5 folders. The **Data** folders contain the processed data from both studies. Although the raw data file could not be shared, the processing script that produced the processed data has been shared and can be found in the study respective 'Scripts' folder. The **Figs** folder contains all the 5 figures in the manuscript. The **Models** folder contains .rds objects of all the models used in the present study. In addition to the processing scripts, the **Scripts** folders also contain the code to replicate the study models and reproduce the figures and tables. Finally, the **Tables** folder contains the tables found in the manuscript as well as the supplemental materials. We have also included a document that outlines changes that were made to the project following preregistration for full transparency.
