Description: Core outcome sets (COS) are minimum standardised sets of outcomes that should be measured and reported in studies of particular health areas. COS increase research transparency and minimise risk of selective reporting. Use if COS in health psychology (and psychology more generally) is minimal to date. The focus of this project is on developing COS for psychologically-informed interventions, and on dissemination and promotion of COS for improving the science of health psychology. This research has been funded by the Health Research Board, The Irish Research Council, and the Health Research Board Trial Methodology Research Network For more information about me or my work on core outcome sets more generally, or my maternal and child health research please visit my institutional page http://research.ucc.ie/profiles/C010/karenmsikar and/or drop me an email at karen.msikar@ucc.ie
