**<h1>CPO Measurement Tools</h1>** This project comprises tools useful to perform some important measurements on quartz *c*-axis distributions obtained via universal stage and automated fabric analyzer. CPO Measurement Tools currently includes two scripts: - CPO_OA - quantitative measurement of the quartz *c*-axis opening angle for temperature estimation purposes. - CPO_Beta - quantitative measurement of the quartz *c*-axis central sector asymmetry for kinematic vorticity estimation purposes. *These two scripts are modified from the original EBSD quartz opening angle quantification script coded by Rudiger Kilian (Halle University) and published by Nicholas J. R. Hunter (Monash University)* Further instructions on the use of the tools are written in the first section of the scripts. All the scripts work on Matlab and require Mtex toolbox (https://mtex-toolbox.github.io/index.html) to be used. Example data are kindly provided by Nicolas Piette-Lauziere (UBCO)
