Description: To date no study have systematically and critically addressed the strength of the effect of opportunity-cost neglect, whether the bias varies across domain and what are the variables that might moderate the outcome. Therefore, we will carry out both a systematic review and a meta-analysis to provide a critical and extensive overview of the phenomenon minimizing potential biases that could be found in the scientific literature.
