Wiki Version:
***Smartphone-RCCT Database*** stands for randomised controlled trials of smartphone applications for chronic conditions. It is an open bibliographic database of peer-reviewed publications of RCTs of smartphone apps used by patients with chronic conditions. The database aims to accelerate the delivery of evidence-based information in a dynamic research field. Also, it pretends to be a relevant resource for systematic reviewers, guideline developers, meta-epidemiological researchers, and stakeholders planning research. Smartphone-RCCT Database is maintained by the *[Institute for Complementary and Integrative Medicine][1]* (IKI). IKI is located at the *[Zurich University Hospital][2]*, and is part of [University of Zurich][3] and [Cochrane Complementary Medicine Switzerland][4]. The database is freely available, and further annual updates based on electronic searches developed by experienced librarians are planned.
