Database Information -------------------- This database contains finalized data from the House Observations of Microbial and Environmental Chemistry (HOMEChem) project. These data are publicly available upon registration with the OSF system. Data use is subject to the following terms and conditions: - Data are made publicly available two years after the conclusion of the 2018 HOMEChem field study, at which point final data should be complete. - Any publications including HOMEChem data must cite the original HOMEChem paper(s) noted in the relevant ReadMe files associated with each utilized dataset that describe the method and dataset. - In addition, publications included the HOMEChem dataset are requested to acknowledge the work of the HOMEChem science team in collecting the data and conducting the experiments. For example "We acknowledge the entire HOMEChem Science Team for conducting the experiment and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation (G-2019-12442) for funding the HOMEChem project." - Data users are encouraged, but not required, to contact the PIs responsible for data generation to discuss their data use and interpretation, and to offer co-authorship for papers if warranted. If coauthorship is not warranted, we request data users to acknowledge the specific scientists responsible for any utilized datasets in the Acknowledgements section of any publications or presentations. Any questions regarding the HOMEChem project should be directed to Marina Vance (Assistant Professor, University of Colorado Boulder: marina.vance@colorado.edu) and Delphine Farmer (Associate Professor, Colorado State University, delphine.farmer@colostate.edu). Any questions regarding this database should be directed to Delphine Farmer and Anna Hodshire (anna.hodshire@colostate.edu) ## Additional Information A HOMEChem overview is available on the indoorchem.org website, including links to publicly available photos: https://indoorchem.org/projects/homechem/ The HOMEChem experiment is described in detail in the following publication: D.K.
