This repository contains the stimulus set, data, and code that support the manuscript:
Lahner B, Mohsenzadeh Y, Mullin C, Oliva A (2024) Visual perception of highly memorable images is mediated by a distributed network of ventral visual regions that enable a late memorability response. PLoS Biol 22(4): e3002564. https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pbio.3002564
The organization of the data and scripts follow the organization of the results presented in the manuscript. Namely, the four primary sections are (1) whole brain MEG-fMRI fusion (WB_MEG-fMRIFusion), (2) ROI-based MEG-fMRI fusion (ROI_MEG-fMRIFusion), (3) memorability and AlexNet model Representational Similarity Analysis (Model_RSA), and (4) fMRI classical memory regions and memorability correlation (fMRI_corr).
We provide the core analysis scripts used in the analyses. For some analysis sections, we do not have permission from the authors of the original code to release their scripts. In these instances we release the outputs of those scripts in the associated Google Drive.
Follow the license.txt file under "stimuli" in case you wish to use the stimulus set in any way. In brief, the stimulus set may be used only for research and educational purposes.
