Description: The forced binary choice question, certainty equivalent, and matching probability are three common measures of preferences in decision making research. However, little is known about their convergent validity and test-retest reliability. A low convergent validity may make the conclusion inconsistent and incomparable across different studies. Therefore, it is important to verify the convergent validity of measures. This study uses these three measures (forced binary choice question, certainty equivalent, and matching probability) to measure people's attitudes towards two different uncertain choices (ambiguous choice, and conflictive choice).
