Description: The completion of secondary education represents a critical life event for young adults. On the one hand, this event offers opportunities for positive development and psychological growth. On the other hand, it can also be experienced as difficult and stressful. In our project ExTra, a longitudinal study will be conducted to investigate which factors are associated with a better or less successful psychosocial adjustment to this transition. For this purpose, data will be collected using smartphone-based Ambulatory Assessment in the daily lives of young adults. The repeated recording of behavior and experience in everyday life over a longer period of time makes it possible to observe potential changes in the processes underlying day-to-day fluctuations in motivation and well-being. In addition, these intensive longitudinal data also allow for investigating various psychometric questions.
