This meta-analysis supports an age-dependent effect on BrS manifestation and prognosis, as the disease prevalence and MAE were lower in older adults with BrS. In particular, BrS patients aged 70 and older rarely develop MAE. Future studies are needed for conducting age-specific risk stratification score.
