Conducting and disseminating research in partnership with the spinal cord injury community: An interview study among researchers and stakeholders

**Aims:**
This study aimed:
1. to explore and describe researchers’ and community stakeholders’ experiences with working together on research among people with spinal cord injury (SCI)
2. to identify principles and strategies that researchers and community stakeholders use when conducting and disseminating SCI research in partnership.
**Methods:** Interviews were conducted with a diverse group of
researchers (n=5) and community stakeholders (n=5) who have experiences with working together in partnership on SCI research projects.
**Implications:** The findings of this study will be used to develop the first guiding principles for conducting and disseminating research in partnership with the SCI community as well as to inform related research partnership capacity building strategies.
