Realistic dreaming associated with fantasy proneness, dissociation, and stress

We examined the content of dreams and the association between creative experiences, dissociation, and stress on realistic dreaming. We found realistic dreams occurred frequently, however, experiences with realistic dreams varied depending on the dream question asked. Realistic dreams were associated with heightened levels of fantasy proneness, dissociation, and stress.
