Description: Save the date, June 13 (10:000-16:00), for a status update and planning meeting of the GO Matrix. The meeting will be held at the GO FAIR International Support and Coordination Office, Leiden (15 minutes by train from Schiphol airport / 2 minute walk from Leiden Central Train Station). We will also have a TC connection (Zoom). The Matrix is a transparent, bottom-up inventory of standards, technologies, data, and other resources that communities have chosen in order to become more FAIR. The purpose of the Matrix is to catalyse global decision-making on the efficient reuse of resources in an emerging Internet of FAIR data and services. Introductory slide deck here: https://osf.io/ceyvj/ Community resources here: https://osf.io/n7uwp/ The GO FAIR Matrix was launched in the January meeting of GO FAIR Implementation Networks. Following the meeting, there has been rapid development of Matrix components including the questionnaire, interfaces, semantics, and potential hosting. Other research communities such as the ENVRI-FAIR project, FAIRPlus project, and CS3 have independently developed their own approaches but with obvious synergetic overlaps. On June 13 (following the ENVRI-FAIR Matrix meeting June 11-12) the GO FAIR Office in Leiden will host a meeting of key Matrix development stakeholders. The purpose of the meeting is to disseminate updates on developments and align efforts going forward (roadmapping with soft and hard deadlines). Detailed agenda and official registration form to follow shortly. Questions? Cheers, Erik
