Wiki Version:
**Welcome to the NHP Optogenetics Open Database** If you use this Database for your project, please cite the associated *Neuron* paper in the "Citation" tab to the right. For any questions, please email S├ębastien Tremblay at strem@pennmedicine.upenn.edu ---------- **To consult:** To view the Database, click on "NHP_Optogenetics_Database_OSF.xlsx" in the "Files" section below on the main page. You can consult the database directly on this website or you can download it. When consulting on the website, you can search for keywords by typing a value in the "Show rows with cells including:". For example, typing "AAV8" will return all experiments that used AAV8 as a viral vector. The second sheet of the Database entitled "Instructions" contains detailed information about the content of each column. The publicly available version of the database is anonymized. If you need a non-anonymized version of the database, please direct your enquiry to strem@pennmedicine.upenn.edu *Please note that each line of the database corresponds to one needle penetration. Penetrations with multiple injection depths are grouped in the same row.* ---------- **To contribute:** Contributing to the Database is easy: 1. Download the database on your computer ("NHP_Opto_Database.xlsx") 2. Add your new entries in Microsoft Excel below existing ones following the instructions on the second sheet. 3. Send me the updated Excel file at strem@pennmedicine.upenn.edu (Sebastien Tremblay) *Please note that each line of the database corresponds to one needle penetration. Penetrations with multiple injection depths are grouped in the same row.* Contributors can add supporting materials, such as histology images, to the database. To do so: 1. Send me your files at strem@pennmedicine.upenn.edu (Sebastien Tremblay) **For any questions on how to consult or to contribute to the database please email S├ębastien Tremblay at strem@pennmedicine.upenn.edu** [1]: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0896627318307682?via=ihub [2]: https://osf.io/register/?next=https://osf.io/kesz6/?show=view [3]: http://help.osf.io/m/collaborating/l/878767-request-access-to-a-public-project [4]: http://help.osf.io/m/projectfiles/l/482002-upload-files [5]: http://help.osf.io/m/projectfiles/l/482002-upload-files
