Description: The preregistered study investigates whether generative artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to generate test items for situational judgement tests measuring components of emotional intelligence (EI). Therefore, we investigate whether established EI-tests differ from tests in the analogous format generated by GPT4 by comparing indices of reliability, difficulty, construct validity, and content quality.
