### About ###
**PennController** is currently under active development. As of June 2018, it was [available in its beta version 0.2][1] (the reference documentation does not yet reflect the latest changes).
*PennController* is a library for the **I**nternet-**B**ased-**EX**periment software [IBEX][2], which was created by Alex Drummond. It is meant to provide a user-friendly syntax to add dynamic and interactive content to your experiments, such as scripted/timed events or multimedia resources.
The development of *PennController* is a project of [Florian Schwarz][3]'s **Experimental Study of Meaning Lab**, and is funded by the University of Pennsylvania. [Jérémy Zehr][4] is the main programmer.
### Events ###
We have started giving occasional lectures for laboratories of the Linguistics Department of the University of Pennsylvania. Further local and regional workshop events will be scheduled during and after the development phase. Please contact us if you are interested in organizing such events (see below for contact infos).
