Description: Using some publicly available data and some data data we collected ourselves, we investigate the question of whether studying philosophy makes people better thinkers. For instance, does philosophy education increase a person's reflectiveness, intellectual humility, open-mindedness?

We used CRT-2 data from (Pennycook & Rand, 2019), intellectual humility data from (Stanley et al., 2020), open-mindedness data from (Littrell et al., 2021; Shrout et al., 2022), and Situated Wise Reasoning data from (Brienza & Grossmann, 2017).
