Description: The experiment was run in the lab using the software z-Tree (Fischbacher 2007). Some of the instructions were read out loud and the paper instructions can be found in the online appendix (also uploaded here). In Section B of the experiment, subjects practiced the task (see "practice_task.ztt"). The core of the experiment (Sections C, D and E) was run using a separate program (see "main_program.ztt"). The file "var_dictionary.pdf" is a codebook of all the variables as they were programmed in z-Tree and as they appear in the raw data files.
