Description: This project presents a case of a tonal alternations and phonological locality that are motivated by iconicity in Tal, an endangered and understudied language. The language data that form the basis of the discussion are presented here.
This folder contains all the original data that form the basis of descriptive, analytical and theoretical exploration in this work. All the sound files contain the recordings of the voice of the second author, who is a native speaker of Tal. In total, there are four main folders uploaded here.
