Category: Analysis

Description: This study will explore the perceptions and predictors of physical activity in people with advanced cancer, by analysing responses from the ASCOT (Advancing Survival After Cancer Outcomes Trial) Health and Lifestyle survey. We will estimate how many people with advanced cancer are meeting physical activity guidelines and assess their perceptions about their pre-diagnosis physical activity, current physical activity and levels of support. We will also explore the clinical and demographic factors that predict whether an individual with advanced cancer is meeting physical activity guidelines.
