Slides from the August 5th 2020 Virtual Conference, "Science Librarianship in the Time of COVID-19." This conference was organized and hosted by the Boston Library Consortium's Science and Engineering Community of Interest. - Prompt: - Since March 2020, science librarianship has rapidly evolved to meet changing needs as well as to comply with social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. - What are the challenges of working and adapting to the so-called “new normal” of the COVID-19 era? - What are the hacks, methods, or activities that you have designed or created to meet the new needs of library patrons and users? - What do you anticipate evolving in the future of academic librarianship? Presenters will talk about how remote work has informed changes to reference services, pedagogy, outreach, and practice. - Other Info: Two participants did not give permission for their slides to be archived, so you may contact them by email if you have any questions: Megan Toups from St. Louis University and Daureen Nesdill from the University of Utah.
