Description: Social support systems have consistently been shown to help facilitate healthy adjustment and wellbeing for university students, but the majority of research has focused on the impact of peer and familial relationships. Far less is known about the role of faculty mentoring relationships with their students to manage this transition and cope with the stressors of university life. This study consisted of 1011 undergraduate students who were given a series of surveys intended to measure different aspects of their academic life.
