Description: This project aims to produce a checklist of preferred reporting items for horizon scanning studies. It follows the principles of the PRISMA statement and uses as a baseline the PRISMA extension for scoping reviews which has been adapted to suit horizon scanning methodologies. The files in this project site are prototypes. We accompany them with a glossary of terms. This is a work in progress and we aim to publish this reporting checklist in a peer-review publication once external validation of the checklist has been conducted.
