Description: Mental health issues account for a large portion of disability worldwide (Polanczyk et al., 2015). However, there is still a lack of mental health awareness and resource accessibility. One factor influencing this is negative stigma towards mental health issues (Corrigan et al., 2014). This study examines whether the region in which a person lived as an adolescent influences the stigma they exhibit on the General Social Survey.
