Description: This study explored sleep's impact on false memory formation using a script-based paradigm. Participants in Sleep and Wake conditions were tested before and after a 12-hour delay. Results showed no effect of sleep on false memories, regardless of error type or emotional content. These preliminary findings contrast with previous studies using associative paradigms, suggesting that script-based false memories may be less influenced by sleep-related consolidation.
