Description: Our project aimed to see the correlation between personality types and the reliability of eye-witness testimony. We used the Big Five Inventory to measure where people fall on the personality spectrum (Extroversion, Openness, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness and Neuroticism). A video of an abduction that was previously tested for reliability and validity in the context of eye-witness testimony was shown to the participants, and they were then required to answer the questionnaire associated with the video, which aimed to assess their ability to recall details that have been shown in the video. This was used to assess their eye-witness testimony reliability.
