(openaccess.nl) There are different options (routes) if you want to pusblish open access. - Publishing in a full open access journal is cold the **Golden Route**. This route may involve so called Article Processing Costs (APCs), a fee the author has to pay in order to publish. - Publishing in a hybrid journal (that offers open access publishing but not exclusively) when no APC is charged is called the **Diamond Route**.
