Wiki Version:
This is a top-level repository for two pre-registered projects entitled: "[Social ties, norms and threat perception in the face of COVID-19][1]" and "[Social connections, modes of interaction and well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic][2]" and two additional projects that were not pre-registered entitled "Social alignment and wellbeing in COVID-19" and "[Social bonding and health in COVID-19][3]". All projects use the same dataset and are represented in a separate component each. For the study on the role of social influence in rule following, see [component here][4]. For the study on the role of trust in science in rule following, see [component here][5]. For the study on the role of social alignment through rule following in wellbeing, see [component here][6]. For the study on the role of social bonding in rule following and mental health and wellbeing, see [component here][7] **DATA** On publication of all pre-registered aims, this folder will include the raw and processed data files of the six time points at which data were collected. The legend file explains how each column of the processed data file was obtained. In the interim, subsets of the data required for individual aims (e.g. for the Trust in Science component) can be found within those components. **MATERIALS** The script used to code for the survey can be found here: https://github.com/justinsulik/covid_survey. We will endeavour to keep a demo of the survey on this web link: https://distancing-covid19-survey.herokuapp.com/study. If the link is broken, please refer to the "Survey_Items.pdf", which includes full descriptions of the survey items and instructions used. **ANALYSIS** There is a separate Analysis folder within each component, which contains analysis scripts and outputs used for that component of the project. **PRE-PRINTS** There is a separate Pre-prints folder within each component, which contains the pre-prints published from that component of the project.
