Description: As we continuously seek to bridge the intention-behaviour gap, behaviour researchers have acknowledged the potential influence of identity on behaviour. To really understand such an intricate relationship, research must delve into the depths of the identity-behaviour interaction to consider environmental and temporal components. How does identity and behaviour track over time? When is identity most influential regarding behaviour change? Does behaviour type play a role in the identity-behaviour relationship? This research uses an ecological momentary assessment plus (EMA+) approach to track identity and behaviour over time and context, to investigate the nature of the identity-behaviour relationships. Outcomes will aid development of empirical understanding and behaviour change interventions. *This research forms part of Kristie-Lee Alfrey's PhD Thesis.
