This folder inlcudes the replication files for the following study: Graf, E., Goetz, T., Bieleke, M., & Murano, D. (2024). Feeling politics at high school: Antecedents and effects of emotions in civic education. *Political Psychology, 45*(1). https://doi.org/10.1111/pops.12907 The Folder "ReplicationFiiles_EmotionsCivics.zip" contains the replication files for the analysis. You can find here a short description an the specific files in the folder: - Data_EmotionsCivics_2022-04-06.Rdata: This file contains the data, saved in R-Data format. - Codebook_2022-04-08.pdf: This file contains detailed information on the variables used in the study. It shall provide information on variable names, items used for each scale and some summary statistics. Note that the summary statistics are based on the full dataset. - 00_ReplicationFile_Results_allinone_2022_04_08.R: This file contains the whole analysis reported in the manuscript. It uses the following files as a source: - Correlation-Table_Emotions_2022-04-06.R: This file is the source for the intercorrelations of emotions reported in the Appendix - Correlation-Table_Antecedents&Outcomes_2022-04-06.R: This file is the source for the intercorrelations of antecedents and outcomes reported in the appendix - Both correlation table files take use of the function, which is defined in the last file: FunctionCorrelationTable.R (van der Laken, 2020) - Mplus: this folder contains all the analysis files used in Mplus. Mplus was used for models including the knowledge scale, as lavaan does not allow to use cluster robust standard errors when endogenous ordinal variables are included. **Reference** van der Laken, P.A.
