Wiki Version:
This section describes how our lab implemented the procedures stipulated by the official protocol for the Replicability Project. The general guidelines are available on the main project website [here][1]. **Effect of interest** The main effect of interest was identified as the two-way interaction reported in Study 1 between the drug decision (i.e., to violate the norm and administer the drug or to adhere to the norm and refuse the drug) and the outcome of the decision (i.e., recovery, or death) on ratings of the physician's causal involvement, "F(1, 213) = 13.05, p < .001". **Power analysis** Effect size was calculated from the ANOVA result, yielding eta-squared of .058. A power analysis was conducted in R with alpha of .05 and power of .95. This power analysis yielded a target sample size of 54 participants per cell. **Materials** The Qualtrics (*.qsf) file is available [here][2].
