Description: The RIGAB study aims to characterize online sports bettors with and without gambling disorder concerning individual risk factors and subsequently use this characterization to predict the development, progression and onset of gambling disorder. The RIGAB study is a longitudinal study and consists of three parts: an initial online survey, an in-person study with a randomly selected subsample and a shorter follow-up online survey after one year with the entire sample.
