## Northern Englishes ## The Northern Englishes corpora were created as part of the project 'A comparative study of language change in Northern Englishes' carried out at the University of York between 2008 and 2013. The project investigated language change in five urban dialects of Northern England - Derby, Newcastle, York, Leeds and Manchester.
